The Cornucopia

After saying your goodbyes, you are led into the shuttle and taken far, far away. The ride is longer than you had expected, but when you finally reach your destination you realize it felt much too short; your life is now potentially going to reach its end within the next few minutes. 

Your stylist dresses you in such:

You are then led into your tubes and ascended into the arena.

When you glance around your new surroundings, you find that you are completely alone in a bedroom. A large 4-poster bed sits in the corner, an empty chest lies open at the foot of the bed, and posters with moving people on them line the walls. As you go to open the door, you find that it is locked with a timer. 60 seconds. In 60 seconds the door will unlock. There is no way to lock the door again after the timer is done. 

The Cornucopia is located in the Great Hall. There are two doors at the ends of each hallway leading into the Great Hall, and one door in the middle of each hallway leading to stairs. 

Inside the cornucopia is as follows:

-6 golden balls

-a cloak

-2 electric “wands”

-4 pumpkin-flavored pastries

-4 boxes with chocolate amphibians inside

-3 boxes of jelly beans

-3 ruby-encrusted swords

-1 pair of glasses that function as night goggles

-1 skeleton-shaped bottle

-1 rolled-up scroll of parchment

All windows are able to be opened, but are plexiglass and cannot be broken. More information will come later. 

Your Co-Gamemaker is busy all weekend, so your task is due on Saturday, January 26 at 11:59 PM. Posts will be either Sunday or Monday night, provided we don’t give out any extensions.

and I have sent ask messages to all the tributes whom have not submitted, asking and making sure they knew they were reaped….I have decided not to post the interviews.

Instead, those who submitted an interview within the deadlines will receive 5 sponsorship points.

We have a whopping 5 interviews so far. Get them in. I’m writing the bloodbath task now- I’ve been working on for ages on this arena so I would really appreciate some effort on the other end of these games here.

I have a whopping four submissions. 

Once again, you’re all very lucky. I do not feel like faking twenty interviews and making a fool of twenty tributes. 

So you have until tomorrow at 9PM EST (6pm PST) to turn in this task. 

If you do not want to participate in these games, please send me an ask saying so. I understand it has been over two months since some of you turned in your applications for these games, but I am well aware that many of you are still active in the HGRP community. Please don’t let this amazing arena go to waste, it really is quite amazing and I know CGM Asha is going to do amazing things with it, but we need people to submit to make sure these games go that far!
